I just received this e-mail from Joe Trippi

Fellow Democrats,

We have a chance to take our country back this November. We can undo some of the damage, reverse this disastrous course and hold people accountable.
But first we have to take the Democratic Party back from the power brokers and party bosses in Washington who have decided that they know what's best for you. Here in Florida's 13th Congressional District (FL-13), as in Democratic primaries across the country, Washington insiders are determined to take away your right to choose your party's nominee. They have already decided who is going to represent you in the election for Florida's 13th CD.

Some of us are fighting back and we need your help.

I'm working for Jan Schneider because she is the best person for Florida's 13th and she has the best chance to win in November. She's right on the issues we all care about. She's got the political savvy to get the job done for the people in her district.

I'm asking you to join me in the fight to take our party back from the beltway power brokers. They've made their decision. They're actually working against the best candidate Jan Schneider because they made political horse trading deals behind closed doors. That's not the Democratic party. That's not me. It's not you and it's not right. To do what's right to keep democracy alive in the Democratic Party is going to take money.

I'm asking you to help Jan Schneider keep the democratic process vibrant and alive by sending $100, $75, $50, $25 or whatever you can afford today by contributing online at:
Friends of Jan Schneider

In order to send a message to the backroom power brokers that WE THE PEOPLE own the Democratic Party and can choose our own nominee, we need to raise as much money as we can in the next three days, by the end of this quarter! Please help us take back our party. Send as much as you can as quickly as you can.

Thank You,
Joe Trippi

P.S. To help restore true democracy and fight corruption and/or cronyism in both major parties, please circulate this to all of your friends and acquaintances. To learn more about Jan Schneider, please visit: Thanks.

A great but little know article about how Vern Buchanan got his seed money bankrupting American Speedy appeared in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune 10-06-2005. While he lives a lavish lifestyle, he was an innovator of corporate theft in the style of Enron, Tyco and Worldcom.
